Telugu cinema director SS Rajamouli seems to have missed the first day collection record of his last film 'Baahubali 2' by just touching it in the film 'RRR'.
According to the initial trends of the collection of the film 'RRR', the Hindi version of this film has left behind the first day collections of '83', 'Tanhaji' and 'Good Newwz'.
But, the earnings of the Hindi version of the film have remained far away from the collections of the film 'Bahubali 2'.
Versions released in Indian languages
other than Hindi and Telugu also don't seem to have grossed over Rs 30 crore.
The first Friday shows of the film started quite early in the morning and by the time the 12 noon shows, the theaters were seen filling up with the audience.
According to the initial box office trends till late Friday night, the Telugu version of the film has collected around Rs 70 crore nett.
Although the film has got Rs 100 crore in both these states from ticket sales, but the net collection (the share that came to the producer after deducting the expenses) in the film's earnings is being said to be only Rs 70 crore.
The first day net collection of the film at the Indian box office for all Indian languages is approaching Rs 117 crore and it is almost Rs 4 crore less than the first day collection of the film 'Baahubali 2'.
