There are 168 hours in each week. How do we find time for what matters most? Time management expert Laura Vanderkam studies how busy people spend their lives, and she’s discovered that many of us drastically overestimate our commitments each week, while underestimating the time we have to ourselves. She offers a few practical strategies to help find more time for what matters to us, so we can “build the lives we want in the time we’ve got.”

Ted once hosted Elizabeth Holmes, let's not forget about that. It's all just a bubble gum for your brain, good ideas can't be found here.
I didn't watch it all the way to the end. Did she take him to account people with mental illness or mental disabilities? Or is this geared towards the neurotypical high achiever? Didn't find this particularly accessible, to be honest
Is this a good time to buy stocks/crypto in the Europe? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all, but just how long will It take for us to recover, obviously there are strategies to manoeuver in this present market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, or am I better off putting my money elsewhere.

I believe Time Management should be renamed into Task Management, because time is a) always going forward and can't be managed and b) your always only present at the given moment. The only thing you can do is to plan how you wish to spent the coming time that isn't there yet. However indepent from Time running we have always tasks and that need to be done or not, since some are important and some are not and some don't need even to be done and based on how well you manage your task the better you can use your given time on this planet. So Task Management it is and not Time Management, at least for me.
No I'm multitasking
I imagine that woman is spending the next few weeks catching up on the things neglected during the 7 water heater leak hours …
4:00 4:30 5:50 7:45 9:45 11:30
all those schmucks who wasted all that time going to that event and i just sat here in my room and watched it
There's always time Sometimes we reason we can't do something because we don't have time, but the reality is that without us realizing it we do something according to priorities and when you can't do something because you don't have time it means that the activity is not our main priority. But that does not mean the main priority is something that is the best. No matter how busy our daily schedule is, there will always be time for activities that we enjoy
The best English show!
MIND+TIME=??
Someone to sum it up for me please?
"I don't have enough time" is just a excuse. and all of the problem is using the smartphone anytime.
Maybe its about looking at the whole of once time .. and seeing where the good stuff can go .. that's how we could structure our life beautifully
Looking for what we can do to make it better and Fuller.
Thank you

lol are we smart people?
Excellent talker!
The “time is highly elastic” really open my mind and give me some new insight. In time management I only know that we must be able to maximize the time we have by doing all the work or solving all the problems at one time. But it turns out it's literally just wasting my time, and I have no free time for myself. I’ve previously treated my priorities by putting them into my schedules first in my time management, but I didn’t prioritize a three-category priority list: career, relationships, self. I only prioritize one of them. “Time is a choice” is true because we can’t make more time, but time will stretch to accommodate what we choose to put into it👏
Meanwhile, back in the real world:
24 * 7 = 168
168 / 2 = 84 (deduct for sleep/showering/changing clothes)
84 – 50 = 34 (deduct for work/commuting)
34 – 28 = 6 (deduct for cooking/cleaning/domestic chores)
6 = time for dependent care, college work, and self care.
Just mind-blowing the speech, the content, the bits of humour here and there. 11 mins is full of wisdom
We don't built lives we want by saving time , we built lives we want and then time saves itself
Great ma'am…… Well said
What a waste of time watching this
Skyler White?
8:30 only the people that understand “Friday afternoons as being … (what?)”

If you don't have time means you don't prioritize that thing,I really love this quote and found it unique.Thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Awesome….. really empowering and a lot of fresh information….. thanks a lot 🌻
A busy person will fit it in if its important and people with lots of time never get around to it
I worked just about 100 hours a week for about two years at one point in the oil field.
after years of whacking Ted talks I’ve realized they haven’t helped me.
In China, there is a view that time can not be controlled. But you can be a friend with time. In this way, you need to learn to feel the passage of time and know where your time is spent.
