The myth of shampoo at night

The myth of shampoo at night

Do you like to wash your hair at night to avoid getting up early in the morning? For an extra 15 minutes of sleep, you are not averse to completing this important task of your routine a day in advance.

You can give endless reasons to justify your act of laziness like it saves time, morning hair looks better and others. But unfortunately, this habit is doing more harm than good. It’s not the time that matters, but it’s more about the after-washing schedule, which can be dangerous for you.

Here are three reasons that you should avoid at all costs.

The myth of shampoo at night

Wet Hair

There is a high probability that if you wash your hair at night, you can sleep with wet hair. By practicing this, you can not only get sick, but your hair will get more tangled than normal. This is because the hair cuticle remains open after washing. That is why it is also advisable not to comb your hair when wet as it will cause hair fall.

Growth Of Fungus

Sleeping with wet scalp can also cause other hair problems, such as fungal growth, dandruff, hair loss and infection. This happens because these problems mostly thrive in moist weather conditions.

Pointed hair

If you wash it in the evening then your hair does not look better. In fact, doing so may make your hair more curly and bulging.

This does not mean that you have to get up early in the morning and wash hair at night. You just need to be a little careful and try a simple solution.
First of all, just make sure that your hair is completely dry before sleeping. Secondly, apply a little leave-in conditioner to prevent your hair from getting knotted. Use a silk pillow to prevent hair breakage.
