Introduction to Jawahar Navodaya Selection Test (JNVST):
According to the National Policy of Education (1986), Government of India Started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV). Currently spread across JNV 28 States and 07 Union Territories. These are fully co-educational residential schools Funded and administered by the Government of India through an autonomous Organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Admission to JNV is done through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) to Class VI.
The medium of instruction in JNV is mother tongue or regional language. Hindi for English and Social for Mathematics and Science for Class VIII and beyond Science. JNV students appear in central board board examinations Of secondary education. While in schools including board of education and free of charge Housing, uniforms and textbooks, an amount of Rs. 600 / – per month is collected only from Students from class IX to XII towards the school development fund.
However, students All girl students and students whose families belong to SC / ST categories Income Below Poverty Line (BPL) is exempted. HOW TO APPLY FOR JNV SELECTION TEST
Procedure for online registration for 1st JNV Selection Test 2020 (i) The process of submission of application for JNV Selection Test is Simplified through online process.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Syllabus
For Class 6 students have to prepare for three subjects:
Arithmetic: Number System,Percentage,Profit-loss,Simple interest,Ratio and proportion,Time Speed and Distance,HCF and LCM,Time and Work,Simplification etc.
Basic questions will be asked.
Reasoning or Mental Ability: Mirror Images,Pattern, Odd one Out,Figure Completion,Matching Figure,Analogy,Punched hole or Folding figures etc.
English (Language you have Selected while filling the form): Comprehension,Grammar,Vocabulary etc.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Exam Pattern:
Divyang Students(Students having any disability) will get additional 30 minutes.
Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 Eligibility Criteria
JNVST Exam For Class 6 has Different Eligibility Criteria As Follows:
Only candidates from the district where Jawahar is Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened which are eligible to apply for admission.
However, if the district where JNV is opened becomes bifurcated at a later date.The old boundaries of the district are considered for the purpose of eligibility.
Admission in JNVST, not in position to start new schools Division of district so far 8.2, the candidate desirous of admission must not have been born before 01-05-2008 And after 30-04-2012 (both dates included). Schools where students have obtained ‘B’ certificate under National Institute NIOS should be recognized in open schooling. A candidate must Successfully completing class-V in session 2020-21. Actual admission to ClassVI for the session 2021-22 will be subject to the mentioned status.
A candidate claiming admission under rural quota must have studied and Passed Class III, IV and V from Govt. / Government Aided / Accredited School Spend a full academic session each year in a school located in a rural area.
Candidates who are undergoing the Certificate B ‘certificate qualification course of the National Institute
Open schooling is eligible to write on or before 30 September 2019
