In this video, we’re going to talk about how to stop flatulence.
The average person passes gas between 5 and 15 times per day with no odor. If you have a poor diet, you might experience more flatulence each day.
What causes flatulence? Check out these six causes and remedies for gas.
#1 Low stomach acidity
Flatulence is hydrogen and methane gas created by microbes in the process of carbohydrate and fiber fermentation.
This process is supposed to occur in your large intestine. When it occurs in your small intestine, this is related to SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). SIBO can cause many other digestive issues.
Your stomach pH should be between 1 and 3—this is highly acidic. Without high stomach acidity, your digestive process is put under stress, causing many digestive issues.
The best remedies for low stomach acidity:
• Betaine hydrochloride
• Apple cider vinegar
Ginger can also help soothe the stomach.
#2 Food intolerance
Another cause of gas is food intolerance. Lactose intolerance is a common problem that happens when your body lacks the enzymes that break down lactose. In turn, this causes excess gas. You can avoid lactose or take enzymes that help break down lactose.
Gluten intolerance is also common—if you’re on Healthy Keto, you don’t have to worry about gluten or grains.

Is betaine HCL only taken with protein meals?
A teaspoon of pepto bismol mixed in 8 ounces of water taken during a meal will also reduce and/or eliminate the foul stench from farts and stools.

If when you fart, you are really self conscious, then just do what my dad used to do. Blame the dog. You have to keep a totally straight face especially when you don't have one.
I can't believe how many people seem to have a big problem when farting. You must all be so uptight and self conscious, you should just relax, let it rip and have a damn good laugh at one of the funniest things about being human. It's a consolation prize from God for being the only animal that has to wipe it's arse.
Xylitol contains alcohol, which breaks down into sugar, so it's not keto friendly.
Good info but I can't eat Sunday roast beef with avocado, lettuce, tomatos and aubergines. I tried it and it just does not work.

Dr Eric the advice your giving people is Very Dangerous a major issue that you don't talk about is hiatus Hernia especially where the diaphram has a white ring around the top section inside the Oesophagus, and the only solution is to Minimise the acid activity by taking Lanzoparazo or other PPI pills. Research has cost Millions of pounds if not Billions to get this medication correct, and you are saying a simple bottle of apple cider viniger is the answer, this can cause more damage than you can imagine I gave up the PPIs for 5 years and drunk Braggs Apple Cider Vinigear, listening to so called YouTube Doctors
Coming off the PPIs made my condition worst and the reflux started chocking me of a night. I know lots of people that have been taking PPIs for decades and they are fine, Apple Cider Vinigear will just burn holes in the Oesophagus.

I fart a minimum of 200 times a day and they all stink. Doesn't matter what I eat and I have eaten lots of different probiotics to help with the problem. The only way for me to not fart is to not eat anything.
Pretty sure I know a few folks who can out fart a cow any day of the week. These gassy folks may be burning that candle at both ends.

All this is very helpful information. The one thing that's confusing is adding Xylitol to your coffee. How could that help with lessening gas? Or did I misunderstand what you said?
What if your not gassy, bloated, etc. But now feel like a cow because of probiotics, no more of these.

I am constipated since childhood, and 12 years ago I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. These two are really hard to manage and have the worst-smelling gas during the day unless I manage to empty my bowels completely in the morning. I take vitamins that can manage the problem, but only for a short while. I avoid cows' milk and still fart all day. I began to think nothing matters, I eat and drink healthy, and I still fart. Just the way it is. Anyone can relate? BTW I take lactase enzymes and probiotics. I will buy ACV- it works well on my hair, and might help with my stomach as well. And the shreddies briefs are on my shopping list as well.

I don't want to stop flatulence! I want rip louder and smellier farts! I love farting! I feel so much better afterwards! My favorite recipe to produce the loudest most rancid farts. Pickled eggs, beer, and chili with a whole lotta onions! Add a side of cabbage and your farts will be downright lethal. A pickled egg, beer, cabbage, and chili fart will clear out an auditorium!

I don't even know what to say.. massive weight off my shoulders FINALLY finding your channel & this video (can't wait to explore more). As a bodybuilder, I ingest a lot of calories. Have always had somewhat minor gas, BUT as of the last handful of months it has become excessively foul… impacting my quality of life to a high degree.. Very sulfuric and very bad. Through trial and error I have got a lot of symptoms under control (bloating, overall weakness & nausea, discomfort w/empty stomach.. discomfort after eating.. vicious cycle). My attempt at finalizing everything aka having nutrition extremely clean and moderated (I eat relatively well) I think I need to begin w/address the acid levels in my stomach. What is your suggestion of ACV intake & timing? I'll incorporate that daily. Also, I think switching from creatine Monohydrate to creatine HCL as well will be a nice swap. Bit more expensive, but years ago I recall the 2 months of taking the HCL version it was a bit easier on the gut. Lastly, I'll incorporate a Probiotic. Currently I take Revive MD's immune multi, their greens, GI+, Magnesium Glycinate, and Omega 3s. I plan to replace the GI+ w/their probiotic.. Feel free to add notes (anyone), but want to express some gratitude for your channel. The apple cider vinegar intake is really my biggest question, but feel free to pick apart the other notes.
