After being called out for altering her photos, Khloé Kardashian denies posting a photoshopped image of herself on Instagram and blames her glam team.
The Kardashians star Khloé Kardashian denies she photoshopped her latest Instagram photo, after eagle-eyed fans noticed warping in the background of the image. Khloé’s appearance has been highly scrutinized since the first season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The star has opened up numerous times to share her struggle with body image issues and the repercussions of continued public scrutiny, though it doesn’t stop fans from speculating. A recent post that featured Khloé in a skin-tight black bodysuit, posing in her Paris hotel room appeared edited to make the star’s waist and arms smaller, which in turn warped the gold trim of the wall behind her. The post has since been deleted and now various renditions of the photo have been circulating social media.
Khloé took to Twitter recently to share her truth. The Kardashians star responded to a tweet by user Khlocaine asking someone to send “A screenshot of it ACTUALLY on her feed/the actual post bc… i’m confused,” implying that the post may not have even occurred. Khloé tweeted, “I never even posted this photo. Maybe my glam did but I didn’t. Also I mean… The bent lines in the back lol please [Crying Laughing Emoji]” referring to the warped wall that confirms the photo was doctored. Khloé further clarified “Wait not sayin my glam did that either [i’m] just saying I didn’t post this photo on my page. Where’s the receipts that I did lol people are so weird.” Several Kardashians fans responded to Khloé‘s comments with screenshots of the since deleted post, but it is hard to say whether they are legitimate.
Khloé Kardashian’s Photoshop Use Impacts Fans
This isn’t the first time The Kardashians star has been accused of editing her appearance online. In March 2021 the Good American Co-Founder was accused of “getting a new face” and had her name trending #1 on Twitter. Khloé was again called out when a photo leaked of her wearing a Good American bikini during sister Kim’s 40th birthday getaway. The photo showed Khloé’s appearance to be significantly different from what was posted to her account. In the wake of multiple Photoshop scandals Khloé has been criticized for promoting unhealthy body standards. Many fans have shared concern that Khloé has lost an unhealthy amount of weight, and a recent episode of The Kardashians featured sisters Kendall and Kylie sharing their concerns that Khloé is too thin.
However, Khloé has put a particular emphasis on fitness and documented her weight loss journey on KUWTK and social media. As a result, she later launched her E! series Revenge Body, where she helped individuals along their own weight loss journeys with special focus on inward transformations as well. Despite this, Khloé’s appearance continues to be highly analyzed, with many fans sharing disdain for the star “promoting unrealistic body standards.” This widespread attention has definitely affected Khloé, and she shared that she continues to struggle with anxiety during public appearances.
While Khloé is entitled to post whatever she likes to her own social media pages, her continued use of Photoshop in the past (and possibly now) has left a bad taste in many fans mouth. The Kardashians star has been an avid promoter of body positivity, making a point to use models of all shapes and sizes to represent her company Good American. Even the website’s slogan reads “Representing Body Acceptance.” This continued support of body positivity is no doubt inspiring to many of Khloé’s fans, but her continued use of filters and editing to change her appearance leave these sentiments feeling hollow.
