Flow is described as a state of ‘effortless effort,’ where we feel like we’re propelled through an activity, and everything else seems to disappear.
More specifically, flow refers to any moments of rapt attention and total absorption. You’re so focused on the task at hand that everything else seems to disappear.
Researchers have discovered 22 catalysts that can help you prepare your environment and quickly drop into a flow state. A few of these include distraction management, dopamine triggering, and concentration.

Ah, you mean that sweet place back in the day when doing expert level Guitar Hero and you have to sort of zone out and not pay explicit attention so that your conscience thought doesn't get in the way of your hand eye coordination doing its thing… Apologies. I couldn't help myself. The difference in score between flow and non-flow on certain songs was just so extreme that it's the most generic thing that immediately comes to mind for me. Probably one of the more enjoyable, too. Outside of actual instrument playing and dancing, or most creative arts now that I'm thinking on it. The Guitar Hero still makes me grin though, so I'm sticking with it. 😂🦋
actually you made flow in the VIDEO
I think flow comes from having a a whatever certain feeling on the entirety of the task.
empty the mind and you'll stay focused
Jesus Christ, Buddha, Lao Tzu and many other spiritual teachers reached enlightenment which puts you in a state of constant flow and they all lived way before any of these so-called "godfathers" of flow psychology whom you speak of.
I really wonder how ADHD plays into all of this…
Oh, you mean that feeling when your playing soccer and all your worries seem to disappear as your attention shifts to a state of pure competition and emotion?
Great thank you.
why does he look like white obama
I Highly Recommend blue lock it has big topic dealing with flow as well
Me: *watches this video, thinking I'm going to practice doing this and get good at it so I can enter flow state
My Friend: So uh, what are you going to do with this new super amazing and useful skill?
Me: uh, videogames?
Ultra instinct
Mine came on after a few hours of very concentrated sparring preparing examination. I had to be thoroughly tired and drained of willful energy then it just happened by itself. I became one with the weapon I was holding and my consciousness of my body and surrounding disappeared briefly.
blue lock reference
The main reason I quit FB was to enhance the flow in my life. I've always been a big believer in this. I have had a lot of flow in my life, it's the obvious preference.
How do I use this to manifest money?
blue lock is real
i rmb going into a flow state when i played soccer before
I slept through the video and school
The less you are aware of something the more you're presence seems to seep into the flow and everything becomes instinct.
Flow state must be when I go 20:0 in call of duty
He never freestyled . He never picked up a basketball so well that no one in the world can take it from them . He never had to kill an animal when he was hungry for food . He don’t know
I got stuff to do
Black bag therapy
I tend to get in my way with it. But in gaming I will have this state, I suck I am getting my ass kicked I dont want to play anymore.
And then something clicks in my head and out of sheer spite, I just start decimating everything and everyone, in pvp games like siege cod valorant I will just go on these unstoppable streaks, in cod it tends to be sheer frustration or total disinterest, I am playin against assholes and get sick of it, and will wipe the floor with them using garbage effortlessly, or I start disinterested with my thief class, run with a knife and nothing else and steal whatever they had as my only form of gun, constantly switching and adapting and it ends up being super effective for no reason. Its been a lot longer since played siege but I would sometimes stack upwards of 7 kills in a game where 25 is the max possible kills you can have, and 15 is a perfect game, and I am getting well over ten in my better matches.
Valorant was the worst but a few times I would have this state, often similar to cod frustration or disinterest, I became good out of spite. I just refused to buy a gun and walked through with the default pistol and I got 4 outta 5 kills in that round and none of my teammates could understand how given I hadnt done shit the entire time before, or I go in with the worst guns and just dominate, or the more common stealing a higher end gun and then acing with it, only to immediately throw it away next round.
Normally I struggle with flinching and over correcting and my head being noisy, so these flow states are on a whole other level, some of it is confidence though.
In games less pvp focused I have the same flow, but the interaction is just a total lack of fear, taking very intimidating fights and winning, as opposed to my normal hyper immersed state.
This has happened in real life plenty, usually mixed in with a bit of fuck it energy, like when I jumped off a waterfall.
I dont seem to have any control over it, and I am so curious about it because the immediate increase in capability is astonishing… And the second I notice it, its gone.
I don't know if this will work for me cause you have to be able to not be distracted and I hear every little thing that goes on around me but I'll still try.
Opening tiktok you automatically flow into commercialism
i used to go into a flow state everytime i did math in high school on test work sheets i always had 95% on all my test
I experienced true flow once. On a Call of Duty 1 public server 😂. With not too loud trance music in the background as a 16 year old kid. Nevertheless it was a great immersive experience. It feels like you are faster than the world. Like the world is in slow mo so it is really really easy to do everything perfectly on time.
